Just recently, Costa Rica has introduced a prepaid cellular service. This means that if you have an unblocked telephone, you can buy a prepaid calling card for your mobile with as little as $5. All you need is a telephone, your passport and $5, and in half an hour you will have your own cellular line in Costa Rica. You can buy a telephone number in the San Jose airport (look out for Kolbi signs) or you can buy them in Samara. If your telephone will not work, you can purchase one here for about $50. To get the best reception, use a 3G telephone. Talk to you soon, Giorgia and Gianmario |
