Residence Montelaguna sits on approximately two hectares of beautiful land, just across the road from two pristine and safe swimming beaches: Samara and Carrillo.

The project is relatively new, as construction began in early 2008 and phase one ended June 2010. The Residence is made up of: two entrances, internal paved roads, underground electricity and rain water canalization, a private villa with its own swimming pool, and a four story-high condo with its own private pool, green area, outdoor kitchen and deck – great for sunbathing or watching the birds at sunset.

In addition to this, the residence has its own well (something not to overlook when deciding where to invest in Costa Rica), wastewater management system, children’s play area, and shaded parks.

Phase two and three will involve other villas or condos as well as a small commercial area at the front of the residence.

Designed by Italian Architect, Gianmario Beccaria, Montelaguna strives to obtain that perfect balance between nature and amenities of modern day living that one has come to expect.

 

Greenery and Nature

 

Greenery and shade are of utmost importance to Montelaguna, hence we have kept as many trees as possible, and planted dozens of local trees, including the magnificent Guanacaste.  On most any day you will be able to see howler monkeys swinging from tree to tree, iguanas scooting by or dozens of birds flying over the wetland at sunset.

 

 

Peace of mind

Definitely one of the biggest pluses of Montelaguna, (apart from the location and natural beauty) is the peace of mind that one has when owning a condo here. In many parts of the world, leaving a house empty for long periods of time can be reason for concern. Montelaguna is as safe as one can get without getting paranoid.  The Residence is completely surrounded by a large wall, and the two entrances are guarded 24 hours a day.  Last but not least, along one side of the property is wetland, and the local crocodiles here do a wonderful job of dissuading any wanderer.

So, when you leave Montelaguna, all you need to do is lock your door and say goodbye.

 

Views

Phase four will provide the ever sought after ocean view. – both of Carrillo and Samara beaches.

However, for the time being the first condominium building has a beautiful view of the wet lands, that is just as worthy as an ocean view.

 

 

Property Management Team

Montelaguna Residence also provides Property management services such as cleaning when you leave, while you are away, and setting up your apartment for when you return. We will get your AC serviced, pay your bills, water your plants and even do your arrival grocery shopping for you so that when you arrive the essentials will be there. When you’re here we can also help with maid service, gardening and babysitting..  In other words, making your investment as hassle free and enjoyable as possible.


Should you decide to rent, we can also help here too.

Renting

Should you not be ready to buy just yet, why not rent?  A 3 day minimum stay is all that is required. For more information regarding renting please refer to our renting page.
